Tacoma Yacht Club cordially invites you to join us this year to Reach for Your Star, this being the theme for the 2021 annual Daffodil Marine Festival and Parade. We are proud to once again be able to host the marine parade on April 18th, a tradition dating back to 1934.

Due to the pandemic, we will not be able to provide the usual festivities that we would like to, nor are we able to fill our entire basin with visiting boats. The Daffodil Committee chairs and Co-chairs have successfully wrestled most the of logistics to hold the parade despite our current restrictions, and are pursuing moorage options for participants. They ask that those based in the Tacoma area use their own local moorage to help keep options open for participants traveling longer distances. You will be welcome to decorate your vessels and register to compete for the awarded trophies in the judged categories. Boats can also participate without being judged, but still need to be registered. Registration closes on March 26th, or until we reach full capacity. There will be no registration fee this year!

Currently, several other social activities are being considered as Pierce County progresses through the phases. You will be invited to attend those activities should we be able to host them. Please continue to check our website for any updates.

The Tacoma community and Tacoma Yacht Club hope to see you April 18th at 11:30am for the Daffodil marine parade! The TYC bridge will be out on the lawn and we will wave or salute you, as you cruise by!

Please take this opportunity to visit some of the local restaurants and bars located in the city of Ruston and the Point Ruston development area just a few minutes walk away from the TYC Basin. We apologize for any inconvienience.
