The Junior Sailing Dock at Wollochet Bay is Closed due to Bulkhead damage. DO NOT approach or tie-up to the Junior Sailing Dock at Wollochet Bay Outstation.  The main docks and the Clubhouse at Wollochet Bay are not affected by the bulkhead damage.  You may use the Wollochet Outstation and the main dock, but please do not approach the Junior Sailing Dock from the land or water.

Location and Description

Slow to NO WAKE speed when you get into the bay.  The outstation, at the far end of the bay, on your port side, will present no hazards or shoals to skippers.  Use Chart 18448 or the printable Booklet Chart 18448.  The docks afford moderate draft vessels adequate water at all tide levels.  Deeper draft boats should moor on the outside of the docks when there is a minus, or very low tide condition. Club house with kitchen, Cable TV & VCR.   Fire wood on site for fire pit. Gas BBQ for member use on shore. Restrooms and shower on shore. Big toy and sport court. Club House and restrooms require club key. Water to rinse boats on docks.

Driving

Take SR 16 West - Cross over Narrows Bridge and exit SR 16 at the second Gig Harbor/City Center exit.  Make a left turn off the off ramp, and cross over SR 16.  Keep going straight ahead on Wollochet Drive NW.  You go through 4 traffic lights.  At the fifth traffic light turn left on to Wollochet Drive NW.  This is a protected left turn.  Continue to 31st street.  Turn left on 31st.  At "T" junction turn left on Cabrini.  Then turn right on Charles Olson.  Turn left on White Cloud.  Enter gate to outstation.

Rules

Members are expected to clean up after they use kitchen or BBQ's.

All members must sign in the log book at top of dock ramp.
