Outstations

Outstations

The club maintains the following seven leased or owned outstations for the enjoyment of its members: TYC's Outstation Rules

Select Marina Program (SMP)

Get Ready to Cruise!
The SMP is open to all boating membership classifications.  The SMP provides reimbursement to members up to three nights in any calendar month at up to $60 per night, the cumulative total of which cannot exceed the member’s monthly dues paid to the club.  Reimbursement will be made to the member as a credit on their monthly statement on a first come first serve basis (FCFS).  FCFS will be based upon the date and time the TYC office (Membership Staff) receives a valid receipt showing location, date of stay and corresponding charges.  FCFS will not be based upon date of stay. All receipts must be submitted to the club for reimbursement before the 20th of the month following the stay.

Receipts can be sent to TYC via USPS, personally delivered, or emailed to: [email protected].  An electronically submitted photo of the receipt is acceptable.  SMP nights cannot be used for club sponsored cruises.

Mill Bay Marina Group (MBMG)

TYC members can enjoy the Canadian Gulf Islands at these MBMG locations: Sidney Marina, Mill Bay Marina, Port Browning Marina, and Pacific Gateway Marina. Members may moor at these marinas at no cost for moorage and electricity for a maximum of three nights per calendar month with a maximum of nine nights in a calendar year. The three-night limit is for all the marinas listed above (i.e., two nights at Port Browning and one night at Mill Bay would be your maximum visit for one calendar month). Members are responsible for any charges beyond three nights’ moorage and power. Any ancillary costs are the responsibility of the TYC member. Members must present a valid ID and their membership card at the marina upon registration and moorage will be billed to TYC. Any stays over the maximum or ancillary costs will be billed to the TYC member on their monthly statement.  All TYC Outstation Rules apply to the MBMG program. MBMG nights cannot be used for club sponsored cruises.
