 Tacoma Yacht Club’s Daffodil Weekend is rapidly approaching. This year’s theme is “Bloom Where the World Takes You”. We would like to cordially invite you to join the 74th annual Daffodil Marine Festival and Parade.
The Daffodil Marine Parade route begins at the Tacoma Yacht Club continuing East along the Commencement Bay shoreline from Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park to the Thea Foss Waterway.
The basin crew will be ready to welcome participating yacht clubs and boaters beginning at noon on Thursday, April 16th. If you are coming by boat, we will find moorage for you; however, we cannot always guarantee power, and the use of diesel generators are not permitted if they pose a carbon monoxide health risk to others. Also, we cannot guarantee that you will have pet friendly access to shore so please consider before bringing your pets.
 On Friday afternoon from 2-4 PM join us on the TYC deck for beer and appetizers (while supplies last). There will be a selection process on Friday night at 7 PM for trivia seating and your placement in the Token Parade. At 7:30 PM join us for a "Neon Nights" themed party featuring live music and dancing to the band "Lost & Found".
TRIVIA - One of the highlights of the weekend is the Trivia Token Parade on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 PM followed by a Pub-Style Trivia Contest from 2-4 PM.
Saturday night there is a dinner buffet from 5:30 – 8:00 PM followed by live music and dancing with the country/western band “Nic Cane”.
Sunday the weekend will culminate with the Decorated Boat Parade along Tacoma waterfront. We are looking forward to seeing your creative efforts!
Club, Boat and RV Registration, each club must register and each participant, boat or RV planning on attending must complete a registration form. The boat/RV registration deadline is March 21, 2026 or until we reach our limit. If you have questions, please refer to our website or email Bentley Rickmers at: [email protected]. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any boats over 65' in length.
Drive-In Only Participants, each club must register and each participant must register for a Daffy Card/Pass. Coming Soon!

Each participating club’s Commodore and a guest are invited to the reception in the Crow’s Nest of the TYC clubhouse on Saturday, April 18 at 4:30 pm. Dress will be boating casual.
