Curriculum

Safety, rigging, knot tying, sail trim, helmsmanship, docking, capsize recovery, points of sail and basic racing are some of the skills we strive to master.  Some activities are shoreside with the majority of class time being spent in the boats, on the water.  Fun drills such as sponge tag, knot tying relays, scavenger hunts, sailing jeopardy, laser ball and informal racing are popular with all levels of students.  Students are analyzed daily and advanced as their ability and skills dictate.  We are fortunate in that Wollochet Bay provides the perfect environment for students, from beginners to the most advanced levels.
