Welcome to the keelboat sailing program. For the 2006-07 sailing season, we will be offering a new and more inclusive racing program for cruising and short-handed sailors. In addition to the hard-core racing classes for those sailors who strive to push their boats and crews to the limits, additional classes have been added to match cruising equipped boats and double-handed sailors to others who want to enjoy a more relaxing sail. Additionally, a single-handed race and a cruising rally have been added to the schedule. So, whatever your interest, Tacoma Yacht Club now has events for every sailor.

Summer Vashon June 24^th (Racing, Cruising, and Double-handed Classes)

Oro Bay Sailing Rally October 7-8 (NEW - Cruising Rally w/overnight stay at outstation)

Winter Vashon December 2-3 (Friday pre-race party, largest fleet in the south-sound)

Gov Teats Memorial Feb 11^th (This is a Sunday race that’s always fun)

Single/Double Handed May 12^th (NEW EVENT – No crew, no problem!)

Summer Vashon June 23^rd (Racing, Cruising, and Double-handed Classes)
