There are events that, while they are not TYC sanctioned, are still great boating events and worth noting. If you know of a rendezvous or show that other members might enjoy, please forward it!

Newsletter:
For well over a century, Chris-Craft has been one of America's richest resources for boat and yacht design, creating a standard for maritime technology, craftsmanship and ingenuity. "One hundred and thirty years ago, Chris-Craft set a standard by which all other boats were measured", says Stephen F. Heese, the company's president. "Today, nothing has changed."
"While we continue to maintain every minute detail that makes a Chris-Craft a Chris-Craft, we also seek to introduce new elements," explains Stephen M. Julius, Chris-Craft's chairman. "We aim to subtly evolve our range into the most advanced and distinctive collection of vessels afloat," Julius adds. To celebrate, Chris-Craft will take the show on the road this summer, attending a series of antique and classic boat shows across the nation. Ten popular boat shows have been selected, including events held in Mt. Dora, Fla.; North Lake Tahoe, Calif.; Bay Harbor, Mich., and even the Concours d'Elegance (antique car show) held in Pebble Beach, Calif. The tour also includes six other locations throughout the country. On site, Chris-Craft will be involved in many aspects of the shows, and the public will have an opportunity to view the newest model Chris-Crafts, including the Launch and the Corsair. |
